How to detect hardware we use on our computer
How do I find out what hardware is on the computer? For example motherboard, VGA card, sound card, hard drive, memory, and processor type and brand, how much speed, size etc. without opening the computer case?
Answer:
If its Windows OS, the easiest way press Win + Break (Pause). Then click the [Device Manager].
There are also other software that can translate more specifics, such as Everest Home Edition from Lavalys. Just download it, its free.
There is also SisoftSandra. The lite version is free, too. Try also using UDI (Universal Driver Identifier), search on Google or on www.voodoofiles.com. It is free, too. Hope theyll help.
